Normandie Park is a 207 acre working cattle farm, set in the green pastures of Exeter and featuring a stunning modernist home. The home was built in 1962 by renowned architects Allen Jack + Cottier. Built in the modernist pavilion style, it is surrounded by established gardens and paddocks filled with grazing cattle. Large windows in every room bring in views of the gardens and pastures, giving you a wonderful sense of place. The lounge room opens onto a large verandah, a perfect space to sit and enjoy the country atmosphere. During the colder months you can relax in front of the fireplace. Outside you can walk the grounds, explore the established gardens and view the grazing angas steers. When you stay at Normandie Park you will get a unique taste of Southern Highlands rural life, without being too far from the shops, restaurants and cafes of the surrounding townships.

Normandie Park is a 5 minute drive from the town of Exeter. Moss Vale is a 10 minute drive, and Bowral a 25 minute drive away. The St. Maur and Sally’s Corner vineyards are just down the road. The wineries, wedding venues and other attractions of the Southern Highlands are all within easy driving distance.

**How is the property laid out?**

You approach the house up a long driveway that winds its way past cow paddocks and underneath long established trees. When you arrive at the house, you enter through the large front door into the entry foyer. Turning left off the foyer takes you to four of the five bedrooms, two with ensuite. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom. Turning right off the entry foyer takes you into the large living room with lounges, large television, fireplace and stunning views over the established gardens. Adjoining the living room is the dining room with a large dining table. There is a large, modern kitchen fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils. The kitchen opens onto an internal courtyard with bbq and outdoor dining table. Moving past the kitchen you will find two more bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite, and the laundry with washer and dryer.

If you hold an unapproved event at Earlsbrae, your full cash bond will be forfeited.

Due to the quality and nature of Earlsbrae, external security cameras are located at both entry gates, and at the external doors of the house. There are no internal cameras. Earlsbrae is located a 15 minute stroll or quick drive from Bowral’s restaurants, cafes and shops. The surrounding towns of Mittagong, Berrima and Moss Vale, as well as local wineries and key wedding venues are also all within easy driving distance.

Earlsbrae is accessed through an ornate cast iron gate which leads to a driveway that winds through the property’s established gardens. Guests then have access to the large and stately main house that sleeps 14 and a separate loft style cottage that sleeps 5.

The main house has three bedrooms downstairs, two bedrooms upstairs, and two additional bedrooms, one of which is a very good quality queen sofa bed in a study room. The master bedroom downstairs has its own large en-suite, two bedrooms downstairs share a bathroom, and each of the upstairs bedrooms has it own shower / toilet bathroom – a total of four bathrooms for five bedrooms.

The cottage has one bedroom upstairs with a double bed and single bed, plus a good quality queen sofa bed downstairs. The cottage has its own ktichen, living area and a shared toilet / shower bathroom upstairs.

The main house has a number of generous, luxurious and beautiful common areas – a large open plan kitchen / dining room, a formal lounge, a second formal dining room, a large billiard room, an internal laundry, outdoor entertaining decks, a fire pit, and extra bathrooms for visitors.

The open plan ktichen / dining room also has its own splitsystem airconditioner, and the two adjacent bedrooms have electric heaters. Finally, some of the bathrooms have under floor heating.

Where will I be?

Set amongst the trees and a flat 200m walk from Werri Beach, Treetops at Werri is a laid back, family friendly home. Drive 5 minutes up the road to the seaside town of Gerringong to find cafes, resturants, bars and shopping – or 15 minutes to the nearby boutique towns of Berry and Kiama for a day out! Located at the Northend of Renfrew Rd, Treetops is also close to the start of the Gerringong to Kiama Coastal Walk.

Head up the stairs to the second storey and you hit the airy and comfortable spaces of the kitchen, living room (with Smart TV & Bluetooth Speaker System)and dining area – centred between balconies either side of the house. Bedroom 3 with a Queenand Bedroom 4 with2 x Singlesare also on this level and are off to the side for quieter quarters. The main bathroom is located on this level.

What about outdoors?

Treetops at Werri has a good sized grass backyard that is fully fenced. You can enter straight off the beach via a side gate and make use of the outdoor shower.

The garage now includesa ping pong table! You may also borrow the boogie boards, beach chairs and beach umbrella.

On the second storey, a covered barbeque area overlooking the backyard with spanning views to Rose Valleymakes for fantastic entertaining space whilst opposite on the same level an additional balcony catches the morning sun – the perfect spot for a morning cup of tea!

Staying warm or keeping cool?!

During the warmer months the house can be opened up to catch any available sea breeze. In the cooler months a gas heater is available to keep you warm in the open plan lounge and dining area. Portable heaters are also provided for use in the bedrooms.

High quality linen and bath towels are provided at Treetops at Werri – though please remember to bring your own beach towels!

Parking for cars, boats etc?

Treetops at Werri has parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles.Street parking is also available on Renfrew Rd, and there is alternate access to the backyard via a gate on Werri Street.

The Pottery Cottage started life as a pottery studio bu has been lovingly converted into a comfortable, characterful cottage. There are two bedrooms, each with ensuite and bedding for 5 guests. The design of the living area and bedrooms makes extensive use of beautiful timber cladding and a double height ceiling with exposed timber joists. During the colder months, the fireplace makes this a wonderful cozy place to be.

** Where will I be? **

Pottery Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 40 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. Communal spaces include the lawns, gardens, driveway and trails, but you will have plenty of privacy as well. The Little Forest complex has a bush setting and is circled on one side by the Sydney – Melbourne railway line. As a result, trains are audible at times, and for any kids, part of the fun! Little Forest also has various trails throughout its 42 acres, but please keep children supervised at all times due to wildlife, unfenced dams and trains.

The Pottery Cottage is a charming and comfortable base from which to explore the Southern Highlands. Set amongst beautiful gardens and removed from other cottages on the property, Pottery Cottage feels like a secluded and comfortable getaway.

The Pottery Cottage is reached down a tree-lined country drive way. You approach the house through beautiful gardens and enter into a charming country kitchen and dining area. The front door opens into the open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The bedrooms are at each end of the cottage, with the living area in the middle. Outside is a courtyard with barbeque and seating for six.

Poolside at Hyams is a stylish, comfortable beach house – and one of the few holiday rentals in Hyams Beach with a pool! It has a great layout for families and is within easy walking distance of beaches, the cafe and a local park. It sleeps 8 and is ideally suited to 4 adults and 4 children. Poolside at Hyams is located onTulip Street, within easy walking distance of either the middle beach at Hyams, the local park, Chinamans Beach or the Hyams Beach Cafe. The property is on a corner, with side gate access for when you come back from the beach.

The two pavilions and laundry are connected by timber decking, with easy access from there to the pool and lawn areas.

Orchard Cottage is a two storey cottage set in the orchard of Little Forrest. The cottage has a warm, rustic ambience and is comfortable for groups up to four people. Downstairs is a wonderful social area, consisting of the kitchen and living area. Combined with a wood heater, this is the perfect area to curl up with a book or to watch a movie. Upstairs is a large combined sleeping area with bathroom.

Orchard Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 42 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. There are two other cottages as well as the Angas Carriage in immediate proximity to your cottage so please do expect to occasionally see your neighbours. Oatley Cottage was originally built in 1910 in the Sydney suburb of Oatley. It was transported to Little Forrest in 2009 and lovingly restored. The cottage has a wonderful homely feel to it and is a wonderful retreat to come home to after a day exploring the Southern Highlands.

The front door opens into a light, timber lined hall way off which you will find the three bedrooms. At the end of the hallway is the open plan living and dining area with large country kitchen. The bathroom and laundry lead off from this open plan area. The verandah runs the length of the back and one side of the house. There is a barbeque and plenty of outdoor seating out there to enjoy in the warmer months.

Oatley Cottage has a slow combustion fireplace in the living area. All bedrooms have stand alone heaters. There are ceiling fans in the living room and all bedrooms.

Toilet paper, kitchen soaps, guest soaps and some other supplies are also provided, but please be prepared to top up during your stay as needed. Moby’s at Hyams is located in the centreof Hyams Beach village, in a quiet street. It is ideallylocated, being only a 100 metre walk to Hyams Beach! Or 250 metres to the Hyams Beach Cafe.

Moby’s at Hyams is a quintessential beach cottage, cleverly renovated to make the most of its space to give you a stylish, comfortable, well equipped option just moments from the beach! WiFi, smart tv with Netflix, game, and beach chairs are also thoughtful touches. For outdoor entertainment, the house has a good lawn area and a lovely rear deck under a canopy of large trees.

** How is the property laid out? **

Moby’s at Hyams is a single level house. The front door is sheltered by the front verandah, and leads into an open plan kitchen, living and dining area. A master bedroom has its own en-suite and two other bedrooms share a second bathroom. An internal laundry leads to the rear deck.

** WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

Moby’s at Hyams offers complimentary NBN WiFi and a smart tv with Netflix and Stan.

Whilst the WiFi service is generally reliable, it cannot be guaranteed 100% and no compensation will be paid for disruption to the service. If WiFi is essential during you stay, please make sure that you have your own device as an alternative.

** What about outdoors? **

Moby’s at Hyams has an outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach, a front lawn area, a front verandah and a good sized rear deck that overlooks a creek, under a canopy of large, mature trees.

Moby’s at Hyams has a split system airconditioning unit (for heating and cooling) in the living area. In addtion, each bedroom has an electric heater.

Parking for two cars (stacked on the driveway) is available.

There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.

Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Fantastic beach cottage beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and very comfortable with everything that you could want for a holiday by the beach. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy and the house is bright and sunny with a back deck and front porch to soak up the sun.The location is amazing! Less than a 1 minute walk to Hyams beach and very close to the Hyams Beach caf and the gorgeous White Sands walk. We had a lovely stay here with our kids. There is lots to do in the area or its a perfect place to relax.Well be back for sure!.

Eco Cottage are Oatley Cottage are slightly removed from the other cottages and provide a little more privacy for occupants.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV will I have it? **This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!

** What about outdoors? **

There are 40 acres of gardens and bush for guests to enjoy. There are bush trails which make accessing the bush very pleasant. There are two Shetland ponies, Bootie and Trumbie, and two alpacas, Augustine and Freda on the property for you to meet. Most of the cottages have generous verandahs or courtyards with barbeques and outdoors seating.

All cottages are heated, either by fireplace or electric radiator or, in some cases, both. Some cottages have air conditioning, and those that dont have fans.

Lavender Cottage is a beautiful home located on 40 acres of gardens and bush in Alpine, Southern Highlands. The timber floorboards and exposed roof beams give this property a wonderful country feel. You will not miss out on modern conveniences however, with a large modern kitchen, flat screen televisions and air conditioning upstairs. This home sleeps up to 14 people across 4 bedrooms, and has 3 bathrooms. Children are well catered for with large lawns and gardens to explore and even a tree house. Lavender House is a charming and spacious base for enjoying all that the Southern Highlands has to offer.

** Where will I be? **

Lavender Cottage is located within the Little Forest complex, a collection of 7 cottages spread across 42 acres of grounds. Your cottage will have its own private spaces, but please be aware that other guests may be around as well. There are two other cottages as well as the Angas Carriage in immediate proximity to your cottage so please do expect to occasionally see your neighbours. Communal spaces include the lawns, gardens, driveway and trails, but you will have plenty of privacy as well. The Little Forest complex has a bush setting and is circled on one side by the Sydney – Melbourne railway line. As a result, trains are audible at times, and for any kids, part of the fun! Little Forest also has various trails throughout its 42 acres, but please keep children supervised at all times due to wildlife, unfenced dams and trains.

A visit to the Southern Highlands is all about experiencing beautiful countryside, sitting around a cosy fireplace, driving through working farms, and if you are lucky, staying in an older style, traditional home. Lavender Cottage is reached down a tree-lined country drive way. You approach the house through beautiful gardens and enter into a large living area with slow combustion wood heater and flat screen television.
