Saltwood is close to numerous permanent residences and noise travels easily from the back deck to those houses. Party groups are strictly NOT permitted at Saltwood, and no more than 10 adults can stay at the house. If you breach these rules, you will be evicted from the property. All noise must be taken inside and toned right down by 10:30pm please.

Silver Strand is a particularly tranquil pocket of Hyams Beach. If you book this house with a large group, please respect the peace and quiet of the near neighbours, and keep your noise inside after 10.30 pm

** Where will I be? **

Saltwood at Hyams is located at the southern end of Hyams Beach in a circuit that backs on to the Jervis Bay National Park. It is a quiet bush setting, with a huge array of birdlife, but only a very short stroll to Hyams Beach and just around the corner from the Hyams Beach Cafe.

** Why choose Saltwood? **

The property has a lovely deck overlooking the bush surrounds. It is only across the road from the Jervis Bay National Park which also borders Booderee National Park. The house is expansive and can cater to a large group.

** How is the property laid out? **

Saltwood at Hyams is a large and spacious two storey home with an open plan living area off the kitchen downstairs that fronts on to the deck. The bedrooms are generous in size and offer a number of different bedding requirements.

Upstairs has two very large bedrooms – each with one queen bed. Both of the bedrooms have ceiling fans, and both have access to a balcony that overlooks the lovely bush reserve behind the house.

Downstairs has three bedrooms – one with two singles, one with a tri-bunk bed (queen on the bottom and king single on top), and a third bedroom with tri-bunk again (queen on the bottom, king single on top) plus a regular single.

** WiFi, Internet, Nettflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. You may use the house WiFi with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B.

** What about outdoors? **

The deck is large, open and private. It has a lovely bush aspect, a BBQ and an outdoor dining setting as well as a bird feeder for up close encounters. There is also a brick firepit,outdoor shower with hot water, and a lovely bush path that leads down to the beach.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

Saltwood at Hyams has two electric heaters and two ceiling fans, a slow combustion wood fire, and a reverse cyscle split system air con in the living area.

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

Saltwood at Hyams does provide linen and bath towels for guests. Please remember to bring your favourite beach towels.

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

There is off-street parking for several cars and potentially a boat.

** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **

Saltwood at Hyams is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many pet-friendly options!

** What are the minimum stay rules? **

There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.

** Are there any special Peak Season rules? **

Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

** Who will I be dealing with during my stay? **

Loralyn is a completely wheel chair accessible home and boasts a light and roomy design which allows an easy transition through out the house. Wide doorways, with a full wheelchair accessible bathroom, coupled with ramps to access the BBQ and outdoors areas ensure that all members of the family are included in all aspects of your holiday. The walk to the waterfront is flat and very easy to stroll too where you can enjoy the beautiful ambience of St Georges Basin. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS, TOWELS ETC AT THIS PROPERTY.

** Where will I be? **

Loralyn is located on the waterfront of St Georges Basin. Private access via the back gate makes this house the perfect spot for fishing or any recreational water sport.

** Why choose Loralyn? **

Loralyn is a completely wheel chair accessible home and boasts a light and roomy design which allows an easy transition through out the house. ** How is the property laid out? **

Loralyn has five bedrooms and two bathrooms, and two living areas. Off the large entry hall is the bunk room, housing a tri bunk, and a single bunk complete with reverse cycle AC, and the bedroom next door is a queen room again, with reverse cycle AC. A further bedroom has two single beds, and the fourth bedroom has a queen and enough room for a baby cot if needed. Bedroom five has water views, a WIR and ensuite. The main bathroom has a separate double vanity, and is the wheel chair friendly bathroom. The laundry has a separate toilet. Two living areas equipped with TVs and reverse cycle ACs, allows everyone to have some personal space. The well equipped kitchen features, a gas cooktop, dishwasher and wall oven with beautiful, peaceful views to the water.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!

** What about outdoors? **

Loralyn has a level backyard that backs on to the waterfront reserve. The outdoor area has a ramp for wheelchairs to access the undercover timber decked BBQ area, as well as a pathway to the back gate for waterfront access. A fully fenced yard allows the children to play with out worry.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

There are four reverse cycle air conditioning units throughout the property (two in bedrooms, and two in the living areas)

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

Loralyn does not supply linen. Linen to be supplied by guests alternativelylinen hire is available, price on application. Should you choose to supply your own linen the following will be required: sheets, pillow cases, bath and beach towels, hand towels, bath mats, and face cloths.

Elandra – Absolute Beach Front Luxury

Elandra is a luxurious,absolute beachfront property – one of the best on the South Coast of NSW. It has direct beach access and 180 degree views of Hyams Beach, Point Perpendicular and Bowen Island. It is a large two storey beach house that comfortably sleeps 13 – but only a maximum of 8 adults – across 7 bedrooms, 3 living areas, various decks and much more.

** Please note – maximum 8 adults**

Due to its quality, style and bedding configuration, Elandra is not suitable for bookings that have more than 8 adults. Bookings for more than 8 adults cannot be accepted at this property – sorry!

** Where will I be? **

Elandra is located on the waterfront side of Cyrus Street and has a private staircase leading down to the beach. It is also next door, yet in a secluded and private manner, to the Hyams Beach Cafe and has private beach access to the main beach. Location is perfect therefore!

** Why choose Elandra? **

Elandra is a large two level home that can comfortably sleep a few families or a large group. It has spectacular views and is stylishly furnished with several living areas allowing all guests to have their own space. The large and well equipped kitchen is a master chef’s joy to work in. The Miele appliances offer the touch of lux whilst maintaining the simplicity of a beach side holiday. New floor coverings through out the house make for easy care to give you more time to enjoy your stay!

** How is the property laid out? **

Elandra is a two level house with lovely front and rear lawn aresa. The front of the house encompasses a large open plan living area with fireplace, dining room, functional kitchen and a large veranda all with spectacular views of Hyams Beach and beyond. Also on this level is a TV nook, a study, a three way bathroom, laundry and the master bedroom incl. en-suite and three queen rooms. Downstairs has a small kitchenette, living area, bathroom and three bedrooms.

Due to the bedding configuration, Elandra is only suited to 8 adults and 5 children.

** WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

This property does have Wi-Fi and a username and password will be provided for that in your pre-arrival email. Elandra is complete with an open fireplace, three electric heaters and gas heaters. There are also four ceiling fans throughout the house. Downstairs there is a split system RC/AC for comfort.

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

there is a remote controlled under cover garage that can fit two cars, one behind the other. In addition, there is parking on the driveway for 2 larger vehicles or 4 small vehicles.
