Coromandel Lodge is a relaxing, expansive country home, set within 2.5 acres of established gardens. The property is also extremely well equipped (including everything you could wish for in the kitchen), and the grand lounge room - affectionately known as the Coromandel great room - has picture windows, vaulted ceilings and a magnificent sandstone fireplace. Coromandel Lodge is on the doorstep of Berrima town and is within easy driving distance of the Bendooley Estate (and other wedding venues). It is the perfect getaway for a group of family or friends!

- If you need more space for more than 8 guests, Coromandel Cottage for 4 is within the same grounds. These two properties can be booked together as Coromandel Homestead
- Guests staying at Coromandel Cottage may have a small dog in their accommodation. Please be aware of this, as the properties are not separated by any fence
- If you wish to bring a small dog, please read our pet policy below

It is a short 3 minute drive to the local pub or a selection of shops and cafes - and is also within easy driving distance of the Bendooley Estate (5 minutes), and other wedding venues. Bowral and Moss Vale are an easy and very scenic 10 minute drive away.
Why choose Coromandel Lodge
Tranquility. Style. Comfort and luxury. Beautiful gardens. Tennis court. Proximity to Bendooley or Berrima. Exquisite furnishings and artwork. Coromandel Lodge has it all! If you want to totally unwind as you celebrate a gathering of friends or a special family occasion, then this is the property for you!
How is the property laid out?
Coromandel Lodge is a single level home and offers all of the following to guests:
Bedrooms - all bedrooms have wall heaters, an abundance of pillows and fine linens. The large air-conditioned master bedroom has a king bed, smart TV, dressing table, ensuite and dressing room. The queen room has a pretty queen bed, and the shared bathroom is just across the hallway. The twin room has two king single beds. Great for children but these beds are large enough and comfortable enough for adults to sleep soundly too. It has the shared bathroom across the hall. The petite bedroom contains a king single + trundle. Please note this bedroom is smaller and is accessed by walking through the master ensuite. It is best suited to children or a single adult.
Three communal spaces - the grand lounge room (affectionately known as the Coromandel great room) has picture windows, a high vaulted ceiling and magnificent sandstone open fire-place. There is a second living area next to kitchen with wood burning stove and smart TV, books and games. Finally, there is a third indoor-outdoor living room where you can still enjoy the outdoors whilst sheltered from the weather.
Kitchen, dining, laundry - the large, air-conditioned dining hall has a table that seats up to 14, with wall to ceiling windows overlooking the expansive gardens. There is also a well-equipped kitchen (with Nespresso coffee machine and quality kitchen implements). The fully equipped internal laundry has a third toilet, washer, dryer and second refrigerator.
WiFi, Netflix, Pay TV – will I have it?
Coromandel Lodge has good WiFi throughout so that working from home is normally hassle free.
Please note however that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a back up plan.
What about outdoors?
Coromandel Lodge's park-like garden was planted almost half a century ago. It is a special place that changes with the seasons and has abundant birdlife, kangaroos who often visit at dawn and dusk, and rabbits scampering about the lawns.
Both the Lodge and the nearby Cottage have their own fire pits with Adirondack chairs. The are also BBQ facilities, a French outdoor dining setting and other seating areas to enjoy.
The clay tennis court is for use by either the Coromandel Lodge or Coromandel Cottage guests. Tennis rackets and balls are provided. Enjoy!
The dams on the property are fenced, but please take care around them and always be snake aware. Swimming is not permitted in the dams and children must be supervised at all times.
Staying warm or keeping cool!
For keeping warm, all bedrooms have wall heaters. In addition, one living area has a fireplace, and another a wood burning stove.
For staying cool, there is air conditioning in the main living and dining area, as well as in the master bedroom. The home can also be opened up to catch any breeze, and for that purpose, the large indoor/outdoor verandah has floor to ceiling insect screening.
What about sheets, towels and other supplies?
High quality sheets and towels are provided at Coromandel Lodge.
Parking for cars, boats etc?
There is parking on the driveway areas close to the house for up to 4 vehicles.

Incredible retreat with all the trimmings!
Ashta D - 13th August 2024Our immediate family got together for my mums 70th and we couldn't be happier with Coromandel! It had so much space, with plenty of cosy nooks to curl up and read a book, or just chill out. The beds were sublime, and more than enough bathrooms for everyone. The little touches like boardgames, books nad tennis rackets all just made it feel like a home - as opposed to just a house., Thank you - it was a weekend to remember!
Beautiful weekend away
Vivienne R - 7th July 2024Coromandel Lodge is a beautiful home and perfect for a weekend away with family or friends. Every detail is considered from the luxurious bedding to the very well equipped kitchen. The spacious home offers many gathering options inside and out for guests.

Nat & - 27th May 2024The house & grounds are amazing. The perfect girls weekend location.
We would absolutely stay there again!
Kelly - 5th May 2024This quaint little cottage is beautifully decorated & well equipped with supplies (coffee machine, selectin of teas, lovely bathroom products). We loved the high vaulted ceiling, mezzanine bedroom, bright master room with views over the garden & extensive outdoor space. The seating around the firepit is a lovely place to watch the kangaroos feeding in the neighbouring property at dusk. Being a dog friendly property was a huge bonus.
This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay after our wedding.
Sarah - 5th May 2024We loved that it was slightly out of town & that the surroundings were so beautiful & peaceful.
