Sandlines is located at the northern end of Hyams Beach, close to Boat Ramp beach and the White Sands Walk which takes you through the national park to Vincentia. It is an amble down to the main beach and Hyams Beach Cafe.

Sandlines has a large lovely backyard that backs on to the bush. Having a BBQ on the back deck is an ideal way to relax and absorb the beautiful bush surrounds.

There are three bedrooms, a queen with TV, a double and a bunk room, all with built ins. The bathroom and toilet have recently been renovated with a separate additional toilet located in the bathroom. The lounge and kitchen are open plan and lead onto the back deck which overlooks the fantastic backyard and the bush beyond. The laundry is off the deck.

Sea Loft is all one level. You enter into the open plan kitchen, living and dining room area. Down the hall you will find the bedroom, with a queen bed, as well as the bathroom. The laundry is accessible through the separate lock up garage in the backyard.

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Saltwood at Hyams is located at the southern end of Hyams Beach in a circuit that backs on to the Jervis Bay National Park. It is a quiet bush setting, with a huge array of birdlife, but only a very short stroll to Hyams Beach and just around the corner from the Hyams Beach Cafe.

The property has a lovely deck overlooking the bush surrounds. It is only across the road from the Jervis Bay National Park which also borders Booderee National Park. The house is expansive and can cater to a large group.

Saltwood at Hyams is a large and spacious two storey home with an open plan living area off the kitchen downstairs that fronts on to the deck. The bedrooms are generous in size and offer a number of different bedding requirements.

Upstairs has two very large bedrooms – each with one queen bed. Both of the bedrooms have ceiling fans, and both have access to a balcony that overlooks the lovely bush reserve behind the house.

Rowse House is a casual and comfortable holiday home in a prime location – across the road from a park, with great views from both levels of Jervis Bay and beautiful Chinaman’s Beach! Across the road from the only park in Hyams Beach and with lovely views across the bay and down to Chinaman’s Beach, Rowse House can’t be beaten for location. The Hyams Beach Cafe and your pick of three beaches are also within easy walking distance. You areon the prime waterfront strip of Cyrus Street, with no other houses in front. If that wasn’t enough, Booderee National Park and the nearby towns of Huskisson and Vincentia are only a short drive away!

** Why choose Rowse House? **

Built and owned by the same family since 1951, Rowse House has been a labour of love over the years, and retains much of it original, casual and comfortable charm. It is an older style home but a solid ‘crowd favourite’. Sit back and enjoy the ocean views from the lovely deck or upstairs balcony, or let the kids run around in the spacious backyard.

Entry toRowse House is from the rear. On the downstairs level is a bedroom with a double bed, the kitchen, living and dining area, as well as a combined bathroom/laundry and separate toilet. Upstairs there is a bathroom and three bedrooms: one with two single beds, the second with one double bed and one single bed, and the third with a queen bed. Two of the upstairs bedrooms access a balcony with fantastic views of Jervis Bay. There is also a bathroom on the second level.

Rose Cottage is a classic, original beach cottage located in the peaceful north-west corner of Hyams. It sleeps four, has plenty of character and is an easy walk to beautiful Chinamans beach. Please keep in mind to BYO sheets and towels!

** Please note: **

As the toilet is outside and only accessible through a few doors and steps, the house would not be recommended for smaller children and elderly guests.

** Where will I be? **

Rose Cottage is located on the corner of Aster and Rose Streetsin the very Northwest corner of the Hyams Beach village. Across the road is National Park land so all is quiet and peaceful and full of animal and bird life. Chinamans Beach is a very easy walk along Aster Street and the Hyams Beach Cafe is either a slightly longer walk or a very easy drive.

** Why choose Rose Cottage? **

Rose Cottage is a classic Hyams cottage with many original features including a separate outside toilet that adjoins the house, an original bathroom with shower only and a 1950’s fridge that you will never see elsewhere. It is easy to get back to basics with NO television or dishwasher in this cottage. For these reasons, the cottage may be too rustic for some, but it is otherwisea quaint, cosy and good option for a coupleor small family. If in doubt, please phone us to be clear about how rustic the cottage is.

** How is the property laid out? **

Rose Cottage has a small living room, kitchen, queen bedroom, twin bedroom and combined laundry/shower bathroom inside. The toilet is connected to the bathroom area, but you have to go outside (all under cover) to access it. There is also a porch by the front door with views down Aster Street to Chinamans beach.

** Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

This particular property does NOT offer Wi-Fi. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is generally Telstra. Otherwise, it’s best to use your smartphone only during your stay or find a local cafe that offers free Wi-Fi. The Holidays Collection is committed to getting all owners to provide Wi-Fi at their property, but this is still work in progress!

** What about outdoors? **

Rose Cottage has a tiled porch by the front door with views down Aster Street to Chinamans beach. It also has a lovely lawn, perfect for an evening picnic. National Park land is across the road, so there is a real sense of being amongst nature, but within easy access to the beaches and Hyams Beach Cafe.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

Rose Cottage can be opened up to catch any available breeze and is supplied with heaters, doonas and blankets for winter.

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

Rose Cottage does not supply linen. Linen is to be supplied by you or can be arranged with a linen service which we can provide the contact number for. Should you choose to supply your own linen the following will be required: sheets (fittedand top sheet), pillow cases, bath and beach towels, hand towels, bath mats and face cloths.

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

Ohere is one (tight) parking space under thecarport, plus room for one or two additional cars. Boat parking would also be possible along the shoulder of Aster street.

** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **

Rose Cottage is not pet friendly. Please contact us for a list of our many other pet-friendly options!

** What are the minimum stay rules? **

There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.

** Are there any special Peak Season rules? **

Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.

Palmwood at Hyams Beach – 4pm Check Out Sundays

Palmwood is the perfect relaxed stylish beach house, ideal for a family holiday. This classic 1950’s home has been fully renovated whilst retaining all of its original character. Full of natural light and with ocean views, just a short stroll to the white sands of Hyams and complete with a games room, this home provides the quintessential beach holiday!
The house is large and accommodates 8 guests (plus an infant in a travel cot)

** Where will I be? **

Palmwood is located on the uphill side of Tulip Street, backing on to natural bush land. It is an easy walk to the Hyams Beach Cafe, Chinamans Beach and Little Hyams Beach.

** Why choose Palmwood? **

Palmwood is stylishly decorated and well designed. Having both a large yard and front deck, there is generous outdoor living space. Its elevated design permits views through to the bay. The downstairs kids room with pool table is also a plus.

** How is the property laid out? **

You enter the house from the front deck into a generous open plan dining, lounge and kitchen area. There are three bedrooms on the main level: a master bedroom with queen bed, a second bedroom with two sets of king single bunks (sleeps four) and a third bedroom with a king bed. The Master bedroom has access to the front deck. Palmwood has two bathrooms and a separate laundry. The downstairs garage has been converted into a pool / games room.

** WiFi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV – will I have it? **

Palmwood does supply WiFi, however, please keep in mind that connectivity can be intermittent in and around Jervis Bay.

If your house does have internet and if the owner makes it available to you, there is no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If internet access is critical during you stay, please make sure that you have a Plan B!

** What about outdoors? **

With a large timber deck offering sea views and a rear garden that backs onto the natural bush land of national park, Palmwood is a haven of peace and privacy-yet only one street back from the beach.

** Staying warm or keeping cool?! **

Palmwood is ready to keep guests warm against the winter chill as it is equipped with two gas heaters located in the lounge room/dining room. There are ceiling fans in ALL bedrooms as well to keep you cool in summer. When opened up, the house also catches a lovely sea breeze!

** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **

Luxury linen is provided for Palmwood. Please remember to bring your favourite beach towels!

** Parking for cars, boats etc? **

There is driveway parking for 2 cars. The garage has been converted to a pool / games room.

** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **

We absolutely loved our stay at Palmwood last December! It was a perfect location to explore Jervis Bay, only steps away from Hyams beach. A gorgeous house moments to the sand. It has been recently updated, the photos don’t do it justice. Everything was styled beautifully and there are fantastic facilities including an outdoor shower, BBQ and pizza oven. Will definitely return again!

Great location only 2 mins walk down to Hyams Beach. Within 5 mins walk to the local cafe. The house is spacious and can fit up to 8 people. There are no air conditioning in this place but very nice and cool if you leave door and window open for sea breeze.
